Our Staff

Dcn. Ben is a native of Bainbridge Island, WA, and attended University of Washington where he completed his BA degree in Humanities. He finished his masters degree at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. He taught at Trinity Christian School for 8 years (6th Grade and High School). Dcn. Ben has been the SBH program director since 2019. He and his wife Sara attend All Saints Anglican Church, where he serves as a deacon. They have three children: Charlotte, Graham, and Austin.

Jenny grew up in Southern California where she attended Paloma Valley High School and Riverside Community College. She and her husband, Josh, have lived in Hawaii since 2012, and has been on staff at SBH since 2020. Jenny has been a long time homeschool mom, and has three SBH students: Emery, Ada, and Ezekiel. She has experience as a children’s ministry teacher and youth group leader at her church. She has a love for children and a passion to see them learn about Christ. Auntie Jenny and her family are members at Hawaii Kai Church.

Ashley grew up in Floria and attended Louisiana State University. She taught at Trinity Christian School for 6 years, and Saint Benedict Hall for 2 years prior to the 25/26 school year. She and her husband Matthew attend All Saints Anglican Church. They have three grown children (one of whom is a proud SBH graduate!). She is passionate about classical Christian education and is excited to continue to see SBH’s culture thrive in the coming years!

Fr. Mark grew up on island, and attended Hawaii Pacific University where he completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Before planting All Saints Anglican Church in Honolulu, where he is currently the rector, Fr. Mark worked as a Humanities and debate teacher at Trinity Christian School for 4 years. He teaches at Oahu Theological Seminary, and is the Director of the Theopolis Fellows Program. He has been a parent, tutor, and board member at SBH since 2018. He and his wife Rachel have seven children: Tirzah, Penelope, Ambrose, Moses, Violet, Puah, and Hephzibah.

Kerry has an AA in Psychology, minor in Christian Counseling, a BA
Bachelor in Social Work, and is currently finishing her MA in Social Work all from Liberty University. She taught English at York High School and Seeds of Grace Co-Op in Virginia, and at Hickam Co-Op in Hawaii. She has three daughters with the youngest at SBH. Her and her family attend Harbor Waipahu.

Madison grew up in Gig Harbor, WA and was drawn to missions work as a young woman. She has been a part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 2011, where she has taught YWAM’s inductive Bible Study schools and Discipleship classes. She has been a home educator for her own children since 2020. Her family has been a part of SBH since 2023. She and her husband, Spencer, are Directors of the YWAM Base Honolulu, and they attend All Saints Anglican Church.

Uncle Todd was born and raised on Big Island, and graduated from University of Hawaii Hilo with a BA degree. He attended Southern Seminary for both his Mdiv and PhD degrees. He has substitute taught in private school settings, done paraprofessional work in public schools, and has taught in a homeschool co-op. He is a professor at Oahu Theological Seminary, and is a full time pastor at Kailua Baptist Church. He and his wife Natalie have two daughters.
